Virtual Aphasia Therapy: What is the Impact on Quality of Life?

This session will provide the results of a collective qualitative case study designed to understand the impact of different modalities of virtual therapy on the quality of life of people with aphasia. The case study explores the experiences of five people with aphasia who took part in individual and group based therapies, through interview and thematic analysis. Information about the implications of virtual therapy, the experience of therapy for people with aphasia, and future directions for researchers and clinicians will be addressed.
