Student success is dependent on Speech-language pathologists and Educators finding common goals. A focus on collaborative practices and collective efficacy will increase students’ literacy.
This session will review the skills students require for literacy through the exploration of Scarborough’s Reading Rope and the Active View of Reading. The link to language development and the role of the S-LP in literacy learning will be the focus of discussion. We will go beyond the skills and consider the role of the S-LP in language development and literacy learning in the school community.
