It’s been eight years since the CATALISE consensus that launched global efforts to raise awareness of Developmental Language Disorder or DLD. Widespread, consistent use of the term is key to awareness and advocacy efforts for those living with and impacted by DLD. Practice change to incorporate DLD is happening. Continuing the discussion is an important step to supporting that change. In this talk, I’ll share the top 5 questions I get asked about DLD identification, DLD assessment, and DLD intervention, and follow each with a question-and-answer discussion period. Come with your questions and stories as we advance practice and set the stage for continued advocacy in support of those with DLD.
